University of Alberta ISA Scholarships and Book Prize Award

The scholarships and book prize listed here are endowed by the Edmonton Section of ISA.  Please contact your NAIT Student Section Advisor if you have any questions regarding these scholarships.

  1. ISA - The International Society of Automation - Edmonton Section Scholarship.
    • Field of study: Chemical Engineering.
    • Value: $750.
    • Number of scholarships awarded: 1
    • Conditions: To be awarded to a student with superior academic achievement entering the Computer Process Control option for a BSc degree in Chemical Engineering.  The recipient must have a diploma from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) or SAIT (Southern Alberta Institute of Technology) and will be chosen on the basis of academic standing.
    • Application: By nomination of the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering.
  2. ISA - The International Society of Automation - RT McKenzie Memorial Scholarship.
    • Field of study: Chemical Engineering.
    • Value: $750.
    • Number of scholarships awarded: 1
    • Conditions: To be awarded to a student with superior academic achievement entering the first year in the Computer Process Control option leading to degree of BSc in Chemical Engineering.   The recipient will have achieved the highest academic standing in the qualifying year in Engineering.
    • Application: By nomination of the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering.
  3. ISA - The International Society of Automation - Millennium Scholarship.
    • Field of study: Chemical Engineering.
    • Value: $1,000.
    • Number of scholarships awarded: 1
    • Conditions: To be awarded to a student with superior academic achievement entering the fifth term of study in the Computer Process Control option for a BSc degree in Chemical Engineering.   The recipient will have achieved the highest academic standing in terms three and four while enrolled in the Computer Process Control option of the program.
    • Application: By nomination of the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering.
  4. ISA - The International Society of Automation - Dr. Reg K. Wood Scholarship.
    • Field of study: Chemical Engineering.
    • Value: $1,200.
    • Number of scholarships awarded: 1
    • Conditions: To be awarded to a student with superior academic achievement  entering the seventh term of study in the Computer Process Control option for a BSc degree in Chemical Engineering.  The recipient will be the student who achieves the highest academic standing in terms five and six of the Computer Process Control option of the program.
    • Application: By nomination of the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering.
  5. ISA - The International Society of Automation - Edmonton Section Book Prize.
    • Field of study: Chemical Engineering.
    • Value: $250.
    • Number of book prizes awarded: 1
    • Conditions: To be awarded to a graduating student in the Computer Process Control option for a B.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering.
    • Application: By nomination of the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering.
